The contract between you and FAM Tours when you book a charter — covering the booking flow, payment, conduct on board, weather, liability, and the law that governs it all.
These terms govern every charter arranged by FAM Tours — Yacht & Water Rental Services, a charter-house provider registered in the United Arab Emirates, with offices at Office 302, 3rd Floor, Al Babtain Building, Port Saeed, Dubai, UAE, PO Box 282952. References to “FAM Tours”, “we”, “our” or “us” mean FAM Tours. References to “you” mean the booking contact named on the reservation and, where the context requires, the guests listed on the manifest.
By submitting a booking request via our website, by phone, WhatsApp or email, or by paying a deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms on behalf of yourself and your guests.
Our booking flow is intentionally short: vessel, duration, add-ons, contact, review.
BFAM-…) and the agreed price. All prices quoted are in United Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED) and are inclusive of vessel hire, captain and crew, fuel for the agreed itinerary, safety gear, ice, and soft drinks — unless your quote states otherwise.
The hourly rate is calculated from the booked departure time, not the embarkation time. Late return beyond the booked duration is billed in 30-minute increments at the pro-rata hourly rate.
Add-ons (catering, decoration, watersports, photography, entertainment) are itemised in the quote and confirmed only if paid for or signed off in writing.
Payment methods: bank transfer to the FAM Tours account stated on the quote; approved corporate invoicing; or — for bookings made under 72 hours before departure — on-board card payment subject to terminal availability.
We do not charge a service fee on standard bookings. A small admin fee may apply to after-the-fact changes (date, vessel swap, route extension) where the request is made inside 72 hours of departure.
Changes to date, time, vessel, or route are subject to availability. We will do our best to accommodate, but cannot guarantee them. See our full Cancellation & Refund Policy for the windows and mechanics; in summary:
The captain’s judgment on safety is final. If conditions on the day exceed the safe operating envelope for the booked vessel — including but not limited to small-craft advisory, sustained winds above the vessel’s limit, thunderstorms within range, or visibility below safe minimums — we will:
Refunds for Force Majeure weather cancellations are processed within seven working days to the original payment method.
We will provide the vessel in a seaworthy condition, with a qualified captain and a briefed crew, fitted with safety equipment that meets or exceeds UAE Coast Guard and applicable maritime authority requirements. We carry passenger liability cover consistent with UAE practice.
We are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable at the time the booking was confirmed, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control (Force Majeure), including but not limited to weather, port closures, maritime authority orders, government action, pandemic, civil unrest, or supplier non-performance.
Our maximum aggregate liability under or in connection with a booking is capped at the total amount you have paid for that booking.
You confirm that the information you provide (guest names, contact details, accessibility or medical notes, dietary requirements) is accurate to the best of your knowledge. You will brief your guests on these terms, on safety briefing on board, and on the captain’s authority.
You agree to indemnify FAM Tours against any third-party claim arising from the wilful misconduct of a guest on board.
You are responsible for personal belongings. Lost items found on board are held for 30 days and may be collected from our office or shipped at cost.
All photography, copy, video, and design on this website is the property of FAM Tours or its licensors and is protected by UAE and international copyright law. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit any of it without written permission.
Photographs and videos taken by our crew on board during your charter may be used in our marketing unless you tell us otherwise in writing before departure. We will never publish images that identify a minor without the express consent of their parent or guardian.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and, to the extent applicable in the relevant emirate, the laws of the Emirate of Dubai. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these terms shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation with our office. If a dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, it shall be referred to the courts of Dubai.
